Statement of Faith

We believe in…

The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, and entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (Psalm 119:105; Matthew 4:4; John 5:39; John 20:30-31; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21) 

One God eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; Genesis 1:26; Acts 17:24-28) 

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His personal return in power and glory. (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 1:18; John 1:1; John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 7:55; Romans 8:34; Colossians 1:15-20; Revelation 22:13) 

The salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 3; John 3:16; John 14:6; Romans 3:23-24; Acts 2:14-41; Romans 6:23; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 2:1-10; 1 Peter 2:24)

The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 14:26; Romans 8:26-27; 1 Corinthians 2:10-11; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11; Ephesians 1:13-14; Ephesians 4:30)

The unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ. (Acts 2:41-47; Romans 12:4-5; Romans 16:16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 1:22; Ephesians 4:1-16; Colossians 1:18; Hebrews 10:24-25)

The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 14:1-4; 1 Corinthians 15; Philippians 3:20; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-5:4; Revelation 20:13-15; Revelation 21:1-8) 

The responsibility of all Christ-followers to participate in communicating the Gospel message and to “make disciples” among all peoples of all nations as commissioned by Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:44-49; John 20:21; Acts 1:8)
